Engineer now OP? | Team Fortress 2 | Forums

Of course with every update comes the whining.  The game dynamics have changed due to the engineer update and a few people have been complaining that the engy is now OP and a noob class.  Playing today I witnessed that with the right class combos the mass of engineers out there are easily overcome.  Spy demo and medic demo combos are a must and some people thought that the direct hit is now more useful.  Although I want to play engy to get the new weapons I still can't bring myself to go engy on offense so I got some firsthand experience with the above mentioned combos and I have to say it was very effective and lots of fun.
